In one sense it's good what happened today as this guy will get in trouble and you are not seriously hurt but you have to be very careful being all brave, and if you act all brave you need to back it up somehow. Glad it turned out all ok and you're not hurt.
It doesn't always matter who is correct, it matters who gets home.
