That is an obvious danger area, as vehicles coming along the road travelling east can turn left towards Euston Rd, cutting across the cycle lane. I can't remember the lights sequence/if there's a separate bicycle light, but I've seen plenty of bikes continuing across there whilst vehicles are turning.
Not going to talk about fuckwittery ratios between cars and bikes, but just reiterate the junction design is an accident waiting to happen (that's now happened), like the rest of that fucking lane.
