Campag and Shimano compatibility

HI guys wondering if anyone could help with this...

I am builing up a road bike and i am stumped on whcih of the following parts i can buy...

I have secured a rear wheel with campy veloce hub and cassette, 9 speed

i am therefore planning to buy a campag rear and front deraileur either mirage or veloce or can i buy any campy mech set? i have found mainly 10 speed mechs.

Final bit that i need is the sti levers i have been offered a apir of shimano sti levers, will this be a problem or should i only be buying campy levers as well, are there any compatibility issues with any of this stuff?

You're making yourself a lot of hard work trying to use STIs. Get some Ergo levers, cheap new ones can be had for £50 inc cables. A 10 speed rear mech will work with a 9 speed cassette if you change the jockey wheels. Given the cost you might as well get a new 10 speed cassette. Any campag FD will do, though there are specific ones for compacts and triples.
