I was behind the rider, but my view was blocked by a van. The rider collided with a car turning across traffic which had stopped. The rider went through the windscreen and he had injuries to his head and arm. Ambulance and police where called to the scene. Despite his head injury he seemed fine but i think the ambulance took him to hospital for a check over. This happened at about 9am.
On this occasion i would say it was the riders fault, he was cycling to fast for the conditions (heavy traffic) and he obviously wasn't paying attention to the road ahead. He had also previously rear-ended a moped rider only 200yards previous.
