last night I was riding along in primary position in the right hand of two lanes around a bend (I was turning right at the next junction)
had already seen the cab behind me but he beeped at me
i looked at him and was starting to raise the bird but he then smiled, so the half mast bird was lowered and i said "i am turning right, so i'm in the correct lane and i had already seen you"
he replied "yeah i had realised after i beeped, maybe we should not be so quick to react"
we smiled, chatted at the lights and went on our merry ways
simple pleasures can be so great
