thanks all. It may only be small fry compared to some of you big fish in here, but it's a small step ....hopefully in the right direction....well I'll find out tomorrow when I commute to work (please brakes don't fail).

play.....that is black handle bar tape I put on......are you looking at the pre fix up pic (with the red tape).
If you guys bump into a frame that I could do up, let me know...(I have checked out hilary stones frame, even they are a little pricey for me at the moment).
