Started with a puncture. On Tuesday I'd incurred, but not noticed, a blown side wall (spot on, BMMF). Went home for mudguards. Late. Grumpy. Eventually joined in, wound down over a few pleasant laps, but inevitably caved in and put my foot down when 6pt took off. Didn't catch him, rarely do. Ended positively, spotting Colin (a passer by from Swaintoux). A chatty lap, a pacey lap, then home for a banana.
Feeling tons better for having stretched my legs, and it was jolly nice to see more folk out for the evening; though my cage was rattled throughout (by length of rubber tubing). Dork.
