I'm afraid I'm not an expert on lighting, Dale, and I don't know the light you mention. I've generally got on fine with a simple OptiCube on night rides, although as you probably know, some people takes the near-equivalent of car headlights these days. If the light you mention is on the brighter side of urban lights, I'd imagine it should work. It also really depends on what you're comfortable with, which I can't assess. Some people need lighting that's more than 'just about adequate'.
