this is a bit like the "what saddle" thread.
it's all about what works best for you
i made my decision on tyres and saddle two years ago, and am sticking with it.

Agree. While Marathon Plus may be very good for puncture protection they are very bad at everything else (very heavy, squirmy etc,.)
Whereas other tyres are almost as puncture resistant but much faster/more enjoyable to ride on.
