Right, I was going to do the long route of 190k but in view of continuing recovery from injury plus being ridiculously out of shape I think I'll ask to switch to the shorter route.
The other slight stumbling block is that like Arducius I've just realised I can't actually get to Reading before 8:23 on the earliest train out of Paddington. Unfortunately, registration is from 7am to 8am. I hope that these times are only administrative deadlines and that I can still slip in after that. I've sent them an e-mail to ask.
So who's still riding this?
