Just because its a BJ against the wheel/gravity/etc, instead of the ground, doesnt stop it being a BJ. Theyre all ways to carry a ball rather than hit it.

And banned in the offensive half sounds cool to me..
But the rules in question only ban a ball joint (i.e. a ball being trapped against the floor by the mallet) in the offensive half. Wrist shots, lobs, wheel joints et al would be fine under this version of the rules.
