I've never had anyone use that line on me. I've always wanted one to.
Cos it's going to be fun asking them why they'd be so stoopid as to suggest something like that. Well, being as road tax pays for the DVLA, and bikes don't have number plates, why would they say something as foolish as suggesting bikes pay tax for a number plate they don't have? Roads are paid for out of INCOME TAX (as far as I'm aware) and I pay more income tax than the average motorist, plus they do ten times more damage to the surface OF MY ROADS than my bike does, then actually, I'M SUBSIDISING THEM USING MY FUCKING ROADS!!!
