yeah i was on the ride yesterday. people were going down so easily face planting the floor falling into ditches. someone was airlifted to hospital. Most of the riders weren't not pacing them selves n doing stupid stuff. Its sad to hear about the crashes. The road users were getting so impatient due to the sheer amount of cyclists.
Edit: Also the marshals were mostly just sitting around sleeping n not doing anything. This event was pretty poorly organised
I was there yesterday too and the marshaling was poor at best.
Saw a lot of seriously bad avoidable crashes.
Sorry to hear about the broken leg, on the approach to Brighton I was surprised at the lack of marshals and the majority of cyclists on the L2B ride who were flying through red lights. Only ones I saw stopping were the sussex police team.
