Friend has a name which might be pivotal if the police can actually be bothered to do some interrogation - a girl who tried to convince the thieves to come back after they'd taken it (on her phone), she knows who they are. Whether they are actually willing to reveal identities over confidentiality issues is a different matter.
My biggest worry is that it's in kit form now. I wonder if they are smart enough to do so..
