Wicksie, there are a couple of municiple bike racks on the street just outside the cafe/bar/workshop. Easy to watch from either the interior or exterior seating.
Yeah, off the street.
It is in St Luke's ward, which I think is home to some of London's regular thieving teams. I wouldn't leave my bike out of sight 'round there. But the racks aren't out of sight.
This ^.
I'd rather have it locked up safely within the confines and not have to worry about it. I never leave it anywhere usually but am more relaxed about it being in a busy bike environment, but having my insurance invalid is an issue.
That's a good point, but will depend on the terms of the lease, and is there any danger in practice of people stealing bikes from there? I still haven't made it down, so don't know what the place looks like, but I understood that they're in the courtyard?
Yep, in the courtyard behind all the tables so it's pretty safe, but still...
At the jumble I stamped Wicksie's saddle with her name, we'd been meaning to hook up to do this, and I happened to bring the tools as I drove to the jumble.
I'd into turning up with the last and other kit to do it at this kind of event.
I've been charging a fiver. I'd be happy that LMNH would take a little cut, maybe 10% as it's such a small amount.

Tres handy. Cheers Skully, love it!
