Sorry if this isn't the place to mention, but I realised yesterday that my insurance is invalid as your bike racks are not secured to the ground. I'd feel a lot more relaxed about leaving my bike outside if they were.

That's a good point, but will depend on the terms of the lease, and is there any danger in practice of people stealing bikes from there? I still haven't made it down, so don't know what the place looks like, but I understood that they're in the courtyard?
