@irisque - I'm sure getting a long drop caliper is going to be easier than finding some sort of metalwork tools to make a lower brake bridge for the fork (that is what you meant, right?)
@m-x - yeah, it was mostly cost that put me off DAs to be fair. I may well bite the bullet yet as I've seen tfg have them, but thought there might be a cheaper solution out there?
