Sure. My forks got bent after I got hit by a car, and I bent them back by hand, looking to replace them with forks that aren't bent by hand...
Claud Butler San Remo 2008 Frame, currently has a cane creek headset, replacement forks I got from the forum, don't know the name but they fit. Crown race is rusted onto the the previous forks.
sorry i forgot about this. are you sure it is "rusted" onto the forks? it is a press fit, you won't be able to pull it off with your fingers, it takes a crown race removal tool, or, a hammer and screwdriver tapped around the base of the race to knock it off.
the evans site lists the san remo as having a semi integrated headset, which is not an integrated headset. it is basically a normal headset, but the cups are pressed inside the frame. but you still can only use a semi integrated (aka zerostack, low profile, internal) headset. but that is for this year so it may have changed.
