Forfeits suck big time though and I think a fair few games will go that way even if players are willing/try to play them. It doesn't take much for 6 people to be otherwise engaged over 14 days. Forfeited results would fuck up the points and I don't think would offer a true representation of what the standings should be.
I will be the first to admit that I underestimated how much of a commitment the league would be and at times Tapout have been a fair few games behind but at no point has this happened because any of us have been lazy or not bothered to play. In the event that the league was split I'm assuming the time scale will remain the same, two fixtures a month is a whole load easier than one a week.
