Indeed. Be open and honest about who you are from the start and people'll be supportive. Pretend to be a punter who rates it and people'll wonder why you need to do this to support your brand.

I genuinely wish you well but please learn this simple lesson.

Lesson learned, however when I did exactly that on BikeRadar, which I'd been on for years I got the same response!
