There were LOADS of dropped bottles on the course.
My saddle bag was loaded up with large multi and bits and it tore itself off so I pocketed the bits.
I didn't do any double taping or anything.
I did inflate my tyres to 120psi before I left with an idea to let them down on arrival (in case I couldn't find a track pump) and then forgot to let them down.. first two flat cobbled sections almost killed me until I remembered! :)
There's 20k people on the course.. for me the hardest part of the climbs wasn't the climb it was avoiding the people stopping, falling left and right, etc.
It's frickin excellent and I wish I was doing it again!
