Why would I strive for a chaotic society which is ruled by the strongest, most callous and/or most well armed? Isn't present-day Somalia a good example of how an anarchist society would turn out to be?

Thats not really what its about, nobody's meant to 'rule' anything. But of course what you talk about is what would happen in practice.
