So just to recap: ball bearing in the nut glue with Areldite and nail polish remover for 15 mins to remove if need be?
I've only ever used superglue - the acetone in nail polish remover breaks it down. It's quite fun. Goes all gloopy.
Instead of a bearing I found two little nuts (LOL!) that fit neatly into the hex socket (two make it tall enough); the threaded holes create a little well for the glue. Then melt it down and use a small sharp thing to pick them out.
