Buying a semi-pro a body without them trying it out is a bit risky, I'm sure it's technically superior but I would always want to have a play with a new body in my hands and see how I like it. If the ergonomics are very similar you'd probably be ok though.

Want to do this at some point. Its a beautiful piece of equipment. I just think the DSLR would get a lot more use, and I know the D70 was a compromise purchase at the time*.
(*the flat was broken into and all her SLR stuff was nicked. Idiots did'nt take the bronica, with its 4 different lenses, 4/5 backs, polariod back etc. Lucky really)
