Right, so I'm after some general advice from the android peeps. I live in France, and got rid of my iphone when I moved in january. As much as I loved mine, the best contract I can find is 120€ a month, for 2 years, with unlimited everything (including international mobiles and landlines). Plus 280€ for the 3gs 32gb. The next price down is 80€ a month for 2 years, 120€ for the phone, and 240 minutes!!
I can either bite the bullet and stump up the readies for the iphone, or look for an alternative. I was going to go for a sim only deal and buy a phone on top, but then had second thoughts.
If I go for the iphone on the contract, then sell it (700€ sim free in the shops, so I should make a profit on 280€) and buy something android.
Is it worth waiting for the new htc GA2G just posted, or is something else coming soon?
Things I need: music playability, functional european satnav, microSD would be nice, and decent browsing. Emails are necessary, but I don't envisage too much by way of writing, so a qwerty keyboard isn't necessary.
If anyone has any bright ideas, I'd love to hear them!
