i've changed my rigida sputnik in the back for a velocity chucker (both 48h), because the sputnik was bent after every polo-evening.
Sputniks are strong and very similar in build/materials to chukkas (with the obvious profile difference)... could it have been the wheel build?
Also, Chukka eyelets are crap, when are they going to re-enforce them edges (running shorter spokes on a Chukka solves this as the nipples will break instead of destroying the rim over time), I'd still rather run Chukkas, but Sputniks are ace for the money.
