There's a chap I work with got a saddle very like the one SmallFurry posted ^^. He commutes about 24 miles a day on it. He also has a strange thing with is neck not moving much, and I always wondered if the saddle was a specially made thing for his back/neck problems, never wanted to ask though. I'll ask where he got it on Monday if you like.
Ed, you should definitely look into the fixed gear cargo recumbent options.
