Im offering my Eddy Merckx frame and fork up for sale!
It's stunning (and rare as fuck)! But I have too many bikes,
this one never really had any purpose, so it can go!
It's not standing in my way! So Im not going to do it away for cheap!
I already have an offer of about 500 quid! But Im looking for;
635 quid including Campagnolo C-record bottom bracket and Headset,
and tracked schipping to the uk (Im in Amsterdam).
Good offers, between 500 and 635, will get considered
Measurements are; center bb - center tt = 60,5cm and tt center - center = 57cm.
Its made from Columbus SLX steel, and the serial on the bb is 5141, on the left
side of the bb shell there is an B stamped and an H on the right.
About the frame. It's never been on the road. I got it from a Belgium track rider.
When I bought it, I immediately stripped it. It's definitely been used! Funny thing
is; the black paint is really in a great condition, the white is alright (some chips)
and the pink is pretty chipped.
The only (negative) thing about the frame that needs to be mentioned besides the
chips is that there are some tiny rust wrinkles on the front/bottom bridge above the
rear wheel. U can see it in one of the pics. I think it's nothing to be worried about tho!
The pictures are REALY honest! I focused most on the damage!
Ive also got a set of Campagnolo C-rec Sheriff stars! Well it's not really a set, 36h
front and 32h rear hub. They've been used by previous owners! Rear could use a
re- grease. Besides some scratches here and there but nothing a polish wouldn't fix!
Looking for 300 euro's/ 272 pounds for both. Don't mind splitting, 108/162 quid or
117/153 or what ever u guys can agree on. Iil only split when I have a buyer for both!
If they won't sell here iil polish them myself next week and putt them on the bay.
I can ship the frame out until saturday 4 o' clock english time or after friday next week,
as Im visiting Barcelona from sunday on! Hopefully Iil be able to answer all mail/pm
in the mean time!
