  • Ok, so here's the thing - bigger tyres are also supposed to have lower rolling resistance. If they have lower rolling resistance, how can they also have more grip? Lower rolling resistance, because there is less friction, but if there's less friction, surely there is less grip?

    Rolling resistance does not just come from friction, this will also depend on case deformation and ease of rolling over small obstacles e.t.c
