so i used to ride a charge plug, and it was beautiful. then i flogged it coz i fucked off to india for a year. now i'm back and i want it back. but maybe things have moved on since then?...

i've got £400-£500 to spend on an off-the-shelf singlespeed (yes, i'm too lazy to build my own; yes, i'm too chicken to ride a fixie).

i've looked at a marin inverness and a specialized globe roll 01 today. the first looked alright - so did the second, but then i'm skeptical of specialized (maybe for no justifiable reason).

so, what should i get?
