Campagnolo ergo shifters on older bike

At which point, an complete 2nd hand bike with campag 9-speed starts to look sensible!
Ah well, he is a good example of someone who <3's his bike, wants to keep riding it for life and doesn't jump at the next fleabay bargain.

I've seen 9-speed 'take-off' groupos being sold on EBay, because a bike shop has upgraded a bike they had to 10 speed for a customer. Not sure how often this comes up though. Worth looking into I would have thought.
