well. our event permit is only for 400. so if tons of extra people show up, i run the risk of a massive (in the neighbourhood of tens of thousands of pounds) fine from westminster council. so... i'm rather less than keen on people who haven't registered showing up to start the ride.

I rather fear that, even if the council are lenient on Teddy's wallet (which is unlikely) obvious over attendence would almost certainly make next year's run very hard to arrange. However a well mannered run with 400 this year will make asking for a larger run next year easier. So for my own selfish reason of wanting to do it again next year, I'd say please don't turn up without a place.
