Possibly try a very thin washer if you want to move a pad in a fraction- or if the straddle has a grub screw, cheat the straddle to one side (generally agree with Tommy, tho'- it's a last resort).
The springs may be badly paired so have a think about whether moving the spring tag might help - it usually makes too much of a change, tho'.
