two chains, of same material and construction, one 3/32" and one 1/8" will stretch at same rate surely? mdcc? the length of pin and width of washer between plates is only thing different?
if it is different, it will probably be neligible. surely cassette wear isless on 9 speed as the wear is spread over more cogs. chains are cheaper than cassettes
