ok is anyone here handy with circuit modifying for electrical/music amp gear?
I have 2 Art Micromix headphone amps and they are, fundamentally useless, which i found out to my disappointment.
What i want is a di box with a headphone split with independent volume. The Micromix connections are:
Mic Input > Mic Output
> Headphone Output
The IO connections are fine but the volume pot controls the output of the mic and headphone together. I need to either 'bend' the circuit to mean the mic output bypasses the volume and is a straight output at 0db (i guess). This would leave the volume pot only affecting the headphone out. Or add a new volume pot that controls the headphone output. I would prefer the first as i imagine its easier.
The desired outcome would be personal headphone monitors for live use. Basically, i cannot afford a Shure headphone system or anything like that.

Thanks, obviously i'd pay for the job.
