Could Rembrandt make clothes with the quality of cut that McQueen could?
To imply that a painter is superior to a Tailor and designer is pretty narrow minded. Neither could do what the other does to the same standard without proper training, and even then there is the question of a natural gift on the design side of things...Rembrandt didn't always paint from imagination, so to belittle McQueen with that comparison is pointless.
You clearly hold painters in far higher regard than tailors/designers but that doesn't hold true for everyone else here.
