Me too. I have no idea about RAM and shit any more. Last computer I built was pre-SATA, overclocked AMD Thunderbird 1200. I've only bought a laptop since and although I've upgraded its RAM I have no idea what it is.. I just checked specs. and bought it. To my knowledge you can use the faster stuff and it just operates at the fastest spec. RAM installed. I think you need to keep the banks of the same type too. I'd just check the specs. You're welcome to the other sticks for £0 anyway.. and I can give you those CDs back too :)
