You bastard, all men must have drills, what happens when the zombies come for us - are you just going to talk them out of the attack ?
If the bolt is proud (ie: it's not recessed) get a junior hacksaw (£3-£4) and cut a slot through the centre of the bolt's head - then use a flathead screwdriver to unscrew.
