I would love to do something like that. They seem to be doing pretty technical riding with an extra cycle, I didn't think they would handle that too well but they seem fine.
Might try a small off road coast to coast in Scotland sometime this year staying in bothies and bivying. I did a 1 nighter in the outer hebrides a few years ago with some mates, I had a great time but I'm not sure about the rest of them. The weather was grim and there was loads of really hard climbing. Only me and another did the second day everyone else bailed and cycled back on roads, the second day was far easier better cycling too.
