Jester from my far away perch and having just sold a wheelset on this here forum.
either you price them to sell, below what you think they are worth, or you wait until summer and sell them for closer to what you want. Winter's a bad time to try and get your money back with secondhand merchandise, no matter how great the condition, buyers market in winter, sellers market in summer. I thought everyone knew that.
Not having taken the time to check how long you've been on here, and seeing how you've put this up in bikes and bits, rather than classifieds, so it doesn't show how long you've been a member, you should already know that this forum can be a harsh place for people selling stuff for what is perceived to be "over the odds", you might have saved yourself a bit of a flaming, and I say may, by putting up a price, rather than trying to get people into a bidding war.
If you find it a little hard here, then ebay may be best for you. Put a reserve on them and see how high they go.
