It's not just me...

Peds are generally more stupider than drivers. I have, for years, advocated a television advertising campaign with a slogan 'bicyles hurt too'. It would consist of about six accidents, each one split into two 5-second sections : Pt 1 dopey cunt not looking gets taken out by a 17 stone oaf on an oversized, cheap and heavy mountain-bike, Pt 2 dopey pedestrian cunt lying in road with cuts, bruises, twisted limbs etc.

I think that there is a significant difference though. HUmans have a right to walk. Humans do not have a right to drive. Well thy do, but only subject to numerous caveats relating to their mental state, eyesight, alcohol levels, state of the car, speed they are driving etc etc etc.

Cyclists are somewhere in the middle, but given the relatively minor damage cyclists cause compared to motorists (most of the time at any rate), I would say that compulsory cycling proficiency in school should be sufficient.
