  • Tip #1: Do not lean! Ever!
    Tip #2: Stay out of the gutters and in the well-worn tracks of vehicles.
    Tip #3: Just because you can stop, don't believe others can.
    Tip #4: Rinse your bike with cool water after use.
    Tip #5: Don't brake or accelerate in turns.
    Tip #6: When you do accelerate or brake do so slowly and gently, try avoiding skidding.
    Tip #7: White snow often has more grip than tarmac with black ice that looks clear.
    Tip #8: Don't assume the path is clear under snow. Snowdrifts are fun to cycle through but there's usually a reason why it's collected where it has.

    Ski or sledge slopes are GREAT fun to ignore all these tips.
