was thinking about this over my baked kingfish (delicious seeing as you ask) and came up with the following.
charidee rides are fantastic for those getting involved and training etc, you can meet some ace people doing the longer foreign ones especially, and theres no downside to that.
Sheldons point has some weight too, but they wont make a noticeable difference to cycling here until dicks in meetings go on them, come back and as heads of transportation, elected members of councils say "no way-cyclings awesome dudes, im gonna do it every day now and lets sink half our cash in the next local travel plan into cycling"
the problem is in context that we are just too generous to charities in this country, no wait, I work for a charity scrub that....
ultimately Hippys right though, just turn em off.
