I just got a press release about a London>Paris cycle ride claiming it is the "challenge of a lifetime". I get these all the time. Fed up with it.
They do a lot of good, and people get excited about bikes, and that's all well and good - but I'm still fed up with it.
These people talk about it as though they're about to go through hell and back, and all I can think of is, "what a lovely way to spend a weekend"...
