Wheels are very strong radially, that is when people can run into walls, bend a frame and fork but the front wheel is true, lateral strength is the problem, these wheel will reduce the lateral strength as the spokes on the middle flange have zero bracing angle and sin theta = 0 so offer no lateral bracing.

But arent the outer spokes doing the lateral job?
Although even tension would be extra important i would have thought...........blah, my head hurts.
