It makes you sick seeing that sort of stuff every day Festus, Im totally with you, but therein the attitude displayed is just it^^ the sort of people on bikes who dont read these sorts of debates are keeping driver attitudes an behaviour right at the base level.
So I was going to respond to Tynan by saying that I however pro cycling I am I have difficulty sometimes with it all when its patently obvious that theres at least as many dickwad actions made by people on bikes.
He raised an interesting point about victim hood ^^^, thats something I never feel like, a victim.
However badly drivers behave, they are still the ones losing out- paying for the expensive privilige of sitting in queues, bodies atrophying, going nowhere fast,
and they always will be the slaves to my outlook.
Tynan and I are simply predisposed to react differently to incidents, thats all, no big deal. As long as I can remember growing up in Blackpool where there were street fights all the time my preferred option when set upon would be to just leave it, I dont think thats cowardly, its just not perpetuating violence.
The road situation will just run and run, a bit like this debate could do,
anyway Im off out on my COPPI for a spin- its a beautiful day.
