I'm not trying to do that glib/patronising zen thing (anyone that seen the worst of me will testify I'm a million miles from that). Tynan is right, there are some situations that require giving a real bollocking especially when it's drivers displaying: dozyness/short minded selfishness/down right stupidity that risk the safety of others. They need to be shocked into bucking up their ideas.
The ones really getting under my skin recently are pedestrians; despite the darkness and reduced visibility they're jumping into the road just yards away from pedestrian controlled lights into fast moving traffic. I'm swerving more from them than potholes! Again their lemming like behavior deserves verbal venom.
sorry to ramble but I'm wordering where all of this is going: I was on theoldstreetroundaboutofdeath® last night when a van partially on the ASL continues encroaching whilst the driver is on his mobile. The light wasn't close to changing away from red.
At the next set of lights I spot a police vehicle and calmly ask the officer/driver, "when are they going to take steps against driver doing what said driver has done?" and pointed him out.
The cunt pig looks at me and nonchalently says "when are cyclists gonna stop jumping reds?"
I told him "I stop for lights and why that attitude?"
WTF do you say to that attitude? NB my colorful descrpitive language comes as a result what happened and was NOT in my mindset when I approached him. In all honesty it left me deflated. I wish I hadn't spoken to the sweaty piece of swine in the first place. Fucking traffic swine
