Having looked at Multi_Groove's Cyclocross thread, and the MTB lists from Smallfurry, I thought I'd make up a list for Cyclocross bikes.
Some of these are fine for competition, but others are just superb mud and snow conquerors. Bigger frames, 700c/29inch wheels, and drops
handlebars, mark the differences from MTBs. Some, like the Singular Peregrine, make excellent tourers also.
NOTE: Fixie Inc Pure Blood now has a price and a spec - thanks Phil of Mosquito Bikes. Mosquito handbuilt wheels - Surly hubs/Salsa Delgado Cross rims/DT spokes Truvativ Omnium track c/set Avid BB7 disc calipers. Cane Creek brake levers Cane Creek headset. Thomson stem and seatpost, Cinelli Graphis XL bar.
