Looking like I'll drag the tank out and leave it in 39x17 again. No change on the train situation as of 5 minutes ago - still talking about replacement buses between KX and FP until approx 8.30am.
From what I remember, there's possibly a ford shortly before we reach Codicote. It's been bone dry on previous runs, but that may be different tomorrow. As it lies at the foot of a shallow descent, I'd be wary of charging through too quickly. The road was a bit cut up, I think. I'd not noticed the footbridge by the side of the road before, so that'll be useful if things look too sketchy.
Erm, can't think of anything else right now.
