I recommended that colnago_costa come here, since I figured it would be of mutual benefit both to him and to the LFGSS. Personally, I think contributing to the forum is a personal choice; it certainly shows good form, and it's a positive thing - but for other forum members to passive-aggressively threaten new posters into doing so is a bad look, especially before they've even sold one bike.

I've no problem with people coming on here just to sell stuff. But I think it's a common courtesy to bung the server fund a donation if you do so as you're getting access to a captive, knowledgeable and quite wealthy potential market for free.
